Panther value for Grey’s of Ely

Article Image

Grey’s of Ely has added a new B9R Plaxton Panther to its fleet. Says managing director Richard Grey: “We wanted a new coach with a minimum of 57 seats on two axles and had been impressed with the face-lifted Panther range when we visited Euro Bus Expo in 2010. It is one of the most stunning vehicles on the road today and offered us good value for money. It certainly holds its own against other more expensive Volvo-based products.”

The Panther has 59 Politecnica GTV seats with all-age three-point seatbelts. With a reduction of three quarters of a tonne in the unladen weight against the equivalent previous generation model, the latest Panther can be specified as a 12.8m executive coach on two axles.
