Santa specials on Severn Valley Railway

Severn Valley Railway’s annual visit by Santa in December is a popular trip for groups and coach operators. Dates available in 2010 are 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 and 24 December.

Visitors can travel by steam train from Kidderminster to Arley Station and enjoy the festive spirit of a heritage line at Christmas. Whilst at Arley Station children visit Santa in his Grotto; there is something for visitors of all ages throughout the year. All visits must be pre-booked to guarantee space.

The Severn Valley Railway is a 16-mile steam railway line running from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth passing through some of Worcestershire and Shropshire’s best countryside. Free coach parking is available at Kidderminster and Bridgnorth to all pre-booked groups. There are also post-Christmas trips available from 26 December to 3 January.

In addition, the line offers historic dinning coaches where groups can enjoy lunch on board.
