Skills takes on long-haul destinations

Article Image

East Midlands operator, Skills Holidays is highlighting local coach service and long-haul dstinations in its 2010 summer and winter holiday programme.

For the first time Skills is offering Canada, Las Vegas and South Africa as featured destinations alongside popular UK and continental favourites.

“Travel to our new long distance destinations, and the services and accommodation once there, are made as straightforward as possible,” says Lynne Gibson, Skills tour director.  “For example, there’s no need to arrange the first and last parts of the journey.

“East Midlands travellers will be taken from their front doors straight to Heathrow, the departure airport and, of course, back again.

“This means there are no airport travel costs, no overnight hotel to find and pay for, and all the help you need with your luggage.”

Thre are two tours to South Africa for wildlife, mountains, and Cape Town in November 2010, and in March 2011. The Canadian Rockies is on offer in December, and the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Monument Valley are all part of the Canyon Country holiday in October and March.
