AMPM scraps Solihull, targets Tamworth

Article Image

Small West Midlands operator AMPM is withdrawing its services between Solihull and Birmingham and redeploying the vehicles elsewhere, most notably with the launch of two local services in Tamworth in mid January.

Explains managing director Mel Kang: “We have recent experience operating into the town through our 110 Sunday service. From January we will put all our local knowledge, research and passenger feedback into practice to provide the great bus services that people in Tamworth deserve.”

The company is also increasing the frequency on its existing Birmingham Outer Circle service, which it started in October.
