VDO launches new analogue chart scanner

VDO has expanded its data management product portfolio with the addition of a rapid analogue tachograph chart scanner.

The hopper-fed device is capable of processing approximately 80-90 analogue tachograph charts per minute and the scanner can be used in conjunction with the VDO TIS-Web online analysis and archiving software, thereby ensuring that the management of tachograph data is rapid and secure.

VDO’s scanner also offers a range of additional benefits, including the capacity for double-sided scanning, offline and online processing (online analysis using the VDO TIS-Web Analysis and archiving software), free-of-charge software and no annual licence fees. In addition, the complete chart is scanned, displayed and analysed.

VDO is offering a special launch price of £520 plus VAT until 31 October 2009 (normal RRP will be £570 plus VAT). The scanner is available to purchase through the VDO online shop and a free three month trial of the VDO TIS-Web Analysis and archiving software is also available.
