New Yutong midi pair delivered to Landflight

Solihull-based LandFlight has added two Yutong TC9 Midi Coaches to its fleet at a cost of £192,000 each, as part of an overall £2.3million upgrade to comply with the latest Euro 6 emission standards.

The new coaches have more storage space and additional seats compared to the two vehicles they are replacing, according to Landflight.

“The new midi coaches have all the comforts, including USB ports at each seat, on-board wi-fi, air-conditioning and leather seats and I am sure our passengers will notice the difference immediately,” says LandFlight director Danny Matthews. “And they also comply with the latest Euro 6 emission standards, so we will not have to pay the £100 charge many larger vehicles have to pay now the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) has been introduced in London, or the £50 Clean Air Zone charge which is being introduced soon in Birmingham.

“As a business, we not only think about the comfort of our passengers, we are also concerned about the environment.”
